Unity Sand:


Start of ceremony place the Sand and Unity Bottles on the table near the officiant representing the Bride and Groom.

Children or Family Members may be remembered at this time.

You may use colored sand along with sand from the beach location where you are getting married.

Reading

"You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each other. Today, this relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand.”

“One representing you Bride and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.”

( Bride pours some of his sand first. )

“The other representing you Groom, and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.”

( Groom pours some of her sand first. )

"As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one.”

( They pour the rest of the sand together. )

“Just as these sands can no longer be separated and poured into the individual containers, so will your marriage be.”
